South Africa
South Africa extends from the Tropic of Capricorn to Cape Agulhas. It lies in the southern temperate zone, mostly on plateaus above 4,000 feet. The coastline covers approximately 1,834 miles between the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. The shore, lined by sandy beaches, is fringed by forests in the East and the desert in the West. South Africa’s excellent climate makes golf a year-round attraction with a large number of courses to choose from.

Alongside the Kruger National Park (one of the world’s largest game reserves) is Djuma Game Reserve - part of the Sabi Sands South Africa offering guests the ultimate in golf, game viewing and walking safari’s where the famous Big Five are viewed at leisure.
The Cape Peninsula – including Table Mountain, Cape Point, the Waterfront and the winelands. Spier Golf Course, Erinvale, Clovelly Golf Course.
The Garden Route – one of the most spectacular coastlines in the world with miles of beaches, forests and mountains - home to the famous Fancourt and site of the 2003 Presidents Cup. A few miles down the road play Ernie Els’ signature golf course – Oubaai which opened in 2004.

Sun City – one of the world’s most popular resorts offering the best golf facilities in Africa. The Lost City Golf Course (designed by Gary Player) is an 18 hole golf course with spectacular views across the bushveld. Unique to this course are it’s 38 real crocodiles at the 13th hole – not surprisingly golf carts are compulsory! The other course – the Gary Player Country Club featuring an 18-hole, par 72 course. Adjacent to the Resort is the famed Pilanesberg National Park set in a crater of a long extinct and eroded volcano.
