Musselburgh Old Links is situated in the middle of a racecourse and is the oldest existing golf course in the world. Gullane, home to three courses with the No. 1 the treat of the trio but there can be few golf courses in the country that hold a better reputation than Muirfield, which resides on the east side of the village of Gullane. The links is widely regarded as the fairest of all the Open venues. North Berwick is a wonderful links course laid out on a raised beach with fantastic scenery. It’s near neighbor, The Glen, is a gem of a course and one of the most under-rated in Scottish golf.
North Berwick
North Berwick offers you a perfect blend of tradition, hospitality and a unique golfing challenge. The course is a true Links, starting in the town centre and stretching west along the shores of the Firth of Forth. The impressive views over sandy beaches, rocky islands and the hills of Fife to the north will impress you.
The club, the 13th oldest in the world, has a long and proud history, from staging many of the legendary challenge matches of the 19th Century to hosting major events, including Final Qualifying rounds for the Open Championship.

Gullane
Gullane No. 1 - The eighteen holes of Gullane No.1 Course were established in 1884. The well maintained greens, links grasses, numerous bunkers and sea breezes make a unique challenge for the serious golfer.
The 3rd hole was recently voted one of the top 500 holes in the world. The world famous view from the highest point of the Course on the 7th tee across the course and over to Edinburgh, Fife and way beyond is worth the green fee alone.
With every hole having its own distinct character, the Course is both memorable and enjoyable.

Gullane No.2 Course was built in 1898 and the first and last holes of the course are on the east side of the A198 road. The Course runs alongside No.1 for the first seven holes and then sweeps down to the nature reserve next to Aberlady Bay, before turning back towards the Visitors' Clubhouse. One feature of the Course is its excellent short holes, particularly the 11th with its magnificent view and tricky club selection.

Gullane No.3 Course was completed in 1910, with the first three and last three holes on the east side of the A198 road. The remaining holes are on the South side of Gullane Hill with excellent views across Aberlady Bay to Edinburgh and the Firth of Forth.
Do not be misled by the official yardage. This course will test even the most experienced golfer's ability at accurate shot making and truly is a gem.

The Honorable Company of Edinburgh Golfers (Muirfield)
Muirfield is the home of The Honorable Company of Edinburgh Golfers whose records date back to 1744 when the Club wrote the original 13 Rules of Golf for the first competition played for the Silver Club. Twenty miles from Edinburgh along the coast road to North Berwick lies this “must play” Championship Links course. Handicap restrictions apply – 18 for men and 20 for women.
